Project Description:This project consists of a contract to refill and return the various bottles of compressed gases used here in the Welding Department, as well as servicing our onsite Argon microbulk vessel (450L capacity). Generally speaking, empty compressed gas bottles will be picked up weekly, refilled, and returned the following week on an ongoing bases during our class terms (Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer sessions), with the Argon cryogenic tank needing to be refilled roughly six to seven times a year, predominantly during Fall and Spring Semesters. It is of special note that this contract will require that our compressed gas cylinders be refilled and returned, not just exchanged. Additionally, this project will also encompass servicing of our cylinders on an as-needed basis (hydro-testing/recertification and general maintenance).BackgroundMt.
