Tacoma Power/Generation Engineering REQUEST FOR BIDS PG22-0710F Wynoochee Dam Power System Upgrade Submittal Deadline: 11:00 a.m., Pacific Time, Tuesday, December 6, 2022 Submittals must be received by the City’s Procurement and Payables Division prior to 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time. For electronic submittals, the City of Tacoma will designate the time of receipt recorded by our email, bids@cityoftacoma.org, as the official time of receipt. This clock will be used as the official time of receipt of all parts of electronic bid submittals. Submittal Delivery: Sealed submittals will be received as follows: By Email: bids@cityoftacoma.org Maximum file size: 35 MB. Multiple emails may be sent for each submittal. Bid Opening: Sealed submittals in response to a RFB will be opened Tuesday’s at 11AM by a purchasing representative and read aloud during a public bid opening held at the Tacoma Public Utilities Administrative Building North, 3628 S. 35th Street, Tacoma, WA 98409, conference room M-1, located on the main floor. Pre-Proposal Meeting: A pre-proposal meeting will be held on November 3, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the Wynoochee Dam O&M Building. The address is 5120 Wynoochee Valley Rd, Montesano, Washington. Project Scope: This contract includes the installation and commissioning of a 480VAC, 400A meter, and panel board Q1, two 480VAC, 400A Automatic Transfer Switches (ATSs) each having a bypass switch which are located in the Wynoochee Dam Service Gallery; a 480VAC, 800A main, motor control center (MCC) CQ3 located in the dam’s sluice gate control area. The electrical service is a three (3) wire ungrounded delta service.
