Over the past several months, NASPO ValuePoint has conducted extensive market research and analysis on the functions and the capabilities of Enterprise Content Management (ECM)systems and the ability to customize potential usage by our participating members and other eligible entities.
To understand the full breadth and dimensions of ECM systems and the solutions these systems could offer our members, NASPO ValuePoint is issuing this Request for Information (“RFI”) to gather notable information from ECM providers.
For purposes of this RFI, ECMis defined as the collaborative process of digitally managing and applying an organization's information to support its processes and organizational goals, ensuring that information is easily accessible and useful throughout the content lifecycle. ECM solutions may be comprised of many components,
including but not limited to, content lifecycle management, data capture, workflow management, document scanning, digital archiving, optical character recognition, process management, document storage, web content management, mobile content management, eDiscovery, and eSignature.
The responses to this RFI may help in the development of future competitive solicitations(s).
