Description: Description:Complete the repairs necessary to return the structure of Fire Station 6 to its pre-impact condition. Fire Station 6 is constructed using CMU (concrete masonry units) load bearing walls with joist / metal deck roof system. The existing CMU wall and door jambs should be removed, and existing conditions documented. Repairs to the damage area to include shoring the header beams during construction, replacement of the CMU wall, replacement of the jamb and trim around both overhead doors, and replacement of the rails and rollers for both overhead doors. The existing overhead doors are to be re-used with the weather seal replaced. The CMU wall is to be replaced in its entirety with a reinforced wall as shown in the detail included with this specification. The CMU wall should extend up to support the door header with attachments to the roof deck.
