work consists of furnishing traffic signs to the City of Bakersfield. Supplier shall deliver to the City Corporation Yard as directed. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to the City’s delivery site. The City’s estimate of the materials to be furnished is approximate only, being given as a basis for the comparison of bids. The City of Bakersfield does not expressly or by implication agree that the actual quantities of materials purchased will correspond therewith but reserves the right to increase or decrease the amount of any bid item or to omit any bid item that may be deemed necessary or expedient by the City due to budget or other constraints. Estimated annual quantities are as follows. One (1) signed original and one (1) copy of the bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope by the time and date specified in the bid document. Bids submitted by facsimile or electronic mail will not be accepted. Other Details Interested bidders must log in and download complete bid specifications available under the “Documents” tab. Notes A sample contract is available for download under the “Documents” tab. Please review it carefully. This is the contract the successful Bidder is expected to execute without alteration. If any changes are desired, they must be submitted to the City for approval prior to bid opening. If approved, the changes will be made public for all prospective bidders. Bidder shall not be allowed to alter or negotiate contract language after the acceptance of Bidder’s proposal.
