City of Revere, Massachusetts Invitation For Bids AMI Gateway Installation MUN-2024-1011 Sealed bids for construction of AMI Gateway Installation for the City of Revere, Massachusetts, will be received at the office of the City of Revere Purchasing Agent, Revere City Hall, 281 Broadway, Revere, Massachusetts until 11:00 AM prevailing time, on April 11, 2024 at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The scope of work includes furnish and installation of a new Sensus Flexnet AMI Gateway system on the rooftop of a Revere Housing Authority building at 50 Walnut St, Revere, MA. The system will include, but not be limited to, a Sensus M400 Base station, enclosure, antenna, wiring, conduit, wireless modem, skid for system mounting, and electrical power supply. The Contractor will secure permits as required and test to validate performance of the system. The required contract completion date is July 31, 2024. Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, cash,

certified check, treasurer’s check, or cashier’s check payable to the Owner, is required in the amount of five percent of the bid, in accordance with Section 00200, INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. Revere City Hall office hours are 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Monday, 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM on Tuesdays thru Thursdays, and 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday’s. Contract documents will be available beginning on March 28, 2024. All bids must be in a sealed envelope plainly marked “AMI Gateway Installation” and returned to the Purchasing Department prior to the opening date and time. The selected contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond in amount at least equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price as stipulated in Section 00700 GENERAL CONDITIONS of these specifications. All bids for this project are subject to applicable bidding laws of Massachusetts, including General Laws Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended. Prevailing Wage Rates as determined by the Director of the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development under the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27H, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Bidder, before bid opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on Prevailing Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed work under this contract. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract that the contractor must ensure the employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin under Executive Order 11246, as amended. The successful bidder shall be required to comply with Section 3 of HUD regulations relative to the project area and local concern when applicable and all pertinent Federal and State Laws.
