will be for a Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for Mountain Home AFB (MHAFB) ID, off-base Small Arms Ranges, Grasmere Range Complex, Saylor Creek Range Complex, Juniper Butte Range Complex, associated Emitter Sites, Rattle Snake Radar Site, and other MHAFB off-base facilities, as well as Gowen Field, Boise, ID. The MACC will be an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for, full design-build, partial design-build, and bid-build construction projects that shall be awarded via individual task orders.This procurement is to provide new construction, renovation, alteration, demolition, and repair work by design-build or design-bid-build for facilities. The individual requirements will vary in size and complexity. Requirements may require design whereby the contractor will develop drawings using AutoCAD drafting software. These drawings may require a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect stamp. Requirements will use a variety of trades, including but not limited to carpentry, road repair, roofing, excavation, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection specialist, sheet metal, painting, demolition, concrete, masonry, and welding.CONTRACT DESCRIPTION. This is a Multiple Award IDIQ contract with no pre-established fixed contract prices. The actual amount of work to be performed and the time of such performance will be determined by the Contracting Officer or his/her properly authorized representative, who will issue written task orders to the contractor. Award of task orders will be on a firm fixed price basis. Task orders will provide a vehicle for execution of a broad range of projects. In-house design capability or ready access to design capability is a must for projects including alteration and repair to existing infrastructure.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. After award of the initial contracts, each awardee shall be provided a fair opportunity to be considered for each task order, except under those circumstances described in the contract. The contract period will have a 5 year ordering period.The seed project will be a construction project on Mountain Home Air Force Base.The procurement consists of one solicitation with the intent to award up to five (5) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Construction Contracts to the responsible offerors whose proposals, conforming to the Request for Proposal (RFP), will be most advantageous to the Government resulting in the best value, price and non-price factors considered.
