Biological Surveys, Research and Testing (DFW-2019-021)

The Massachusetts Department of Fish and Game (DFW) is seeking qualified vendors to perform a variety of biological surveys, research and testing throughout the state. Vendors meeting the minimum requirements for this service contract as outlined in the section titled "Evaluation Criteria" will be placed on a "pre-qualified list." When DFG needs a service performed for a specific project or at a particular site, one or more vendors from the "pre-qualified list" will be contacted and informed of any special considerations or instructions for the project and asked to provide a project-specific bid stating the cost and period of performance for completing the project. All such bids must include all costs which will be charged to DFG including overhead and all incidental costs. There are fourteen (14) categories for which vendors may apply: Plants & Fungi; Invertebrates; Fish; Reptiles & Amphibians; Birds & Mammals; Natural Community, Restoration, Natural Resource Mapping and Management Planning; Conservation Genetics; Wildlife Pathology; Ecological Modeling and Statistical Analysis; Property Boundary Location & Marking; Road and Trail Assessment and Mapping; Wetland Delineation & Soil Surveys; Engineering Services; and GIS and Database Projects.
