Sprague Union District CSO-34 Tank Above Ground Development

Description The City of Spokane, through its Planning Department is initiating this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit Proposals from Firms interested in providing CSO Above-Ground Use-Lease proposals. It is the responsibility of Proposers to download the documents from the City ProcureWare system and check ProcureWare for Addenda or other additional information that may be posted regarding this Request. Proposals must be electronically submitted through the City of Spokane’s ProcureWare submittal portal to be responsive and accepted.The Sprague Union District is an economically vibrant diverse mixed use Employment Center. To help strengthen this vision, the City is embarking on an exploration for an above ground use on top of CSO-34 in the heart of the district. The development of above ground amenities can stand alone or be supportive of a development within the district. Examples: park, parking lot, event space, dog-park for nearby multifamily housing, food truck court, solar park with covered event space underneath, outdoor eating space for nearby restaurants, permanent farmers market space with utility services, etc.To assist with the development of the above ground amenities the successful Proposer could be granted up to $250,000 to assist in Design, Engineering and permit costs, and a lease agreement of up twenty years which can be renewed.Please feel free to help us spread the word about this unique opportunity by sharing this message and that the RFP can be downloaded from
