RFP for Sludge Dryer System

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Proposals will be received by the City of Canton until 2:00 pm, Friday, April 24, 2020, for a sludge drying system supplier for the Canton Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion Project. The sludge drying system shall utilize a convection drying process that will result in 90 percent solids by utilizing a belt conveyor system to treat sludge with ambient air that has been heated to a low to medium temperature by a burner or steam heat exchanger system. The selected drying system proposal and pricing will be incorporated into the Construction Bid Documents currently being prepared by Atkins North America. Proposal documents are available online at the City of Canton website, http://www.cantonga.gov or they may be obtained from Atkins North America, Inc., 1600 River Edge Parkway, Suite 600, Atlanta, GA 30328-4612. If the documents are downloaded from the City’s website, it is the responsibility of the individual or company that downloads the documents to continue to check the City’s website for any addenda that may be issued for the RFP. The City of Canton will not be responsible for any information that any individual or company fails to get in an addendum that is posted on the website but is not downloaded.
