INVITATION TO BID ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY PURCHASING & BUSINESS SERVICES ITB: #252402 DESCRIPTION: The Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) is a constitutionally created, statutory body corporate of the State of Arizona, which governs Arizona State University (ASU or the University). Through this Invitation to Bid (ITB) ASU is seeking formal sealed bids for the purchase, installation, commissioning, demonstration, and training of a co-deposition system directly integrated into gloveboxes for the processing of critical materials essential for solid-state batteries. The required system will facilitate the co-deposition of 2-4 distinct critical materials, allowing for thickness ranging from 10 nm to 10 μm. Integration with Ar-filled gloveboxes is imperative to guarantee the transfer of samples free from air contamination. Bidder will upload a single file with this information. 1.1.4 Bidder will provide detailed technical information regarding the system being bid to demonstrate that it meets the specifications detailed herein. Bidder will upload a single file including all of relevant technical information. Group 1.2: Bidder Qualifications Instructions: 1.2.1 The Bidder has been conducting business providing goods and/or services similar to those required herein for a MINIMUM of three (3) consecutive years. 1.2.2 Bidder must have at the time of bid opening, a manufacturing plant in operation, or be a fully authorized agent or representative of the product bid, and capable of producing or providing the items bid. Group 1.3: Bidder's Responsibilities Instructions: 1.3.1 Bidder shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the completion of the specifications described herein. 1.3.2 Bidder has familiarized themselves with the nature and extent of the solicitation and contract documents, work to be performed, all local conditions, and federal, state and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations that may in any manner affect cost, progress or performance of the work. 1.3.3 Bidders are required to comply with all provisions of Federal, State, County and local laws and ordinances, rules and regulations, that are applicable to the items being bid. Lack of knowledge by the Bidder shall in no way be a cause for relief from responsibility, or constitute a cognizable defense against the legal effect thereof. 1.3.4 Bidder certifies that all material, equipment, services, etc., contained in his/her bid meets all applicable O.S.H.A. requirements. Bidder further certifies that, if he/she is the successful Bidder, and the material, equipment, etc., delivered is subsequently found to be defective in any applicable O.S.H.A. requirement in effect on the date of delivery, all costs necessary to comply with the requirements shall be borne by the Bidder. 1.3.5 WARRANTY. All materials provided under the scope of this Contract shall be warranted by the most favorable commercial warranties the Bidder gives any customer for such goods and that the rights and remedies provided therein are in addition to and do not limit those available to the University by any other clause of this Contract. ALL WARRANTIES SHALL START FROM DATE OF DELIVERY TO ASU. All warranty items/issues/concerns shall be resolved at no charge to the University. This shall include, but not be limited to, parts, labor, freight, travel, etc. All warranty items/issues/concerns shall be resolved within a time frame determined by ASU. The Bidder shall warranty all equipment, products, or services provided by a subcontractor just as if supplied directly by the Bidder. 1.3.6 Bidder shall provide the details of the warranty being offered in conjunction with this bid. Bidder will upload a single file with the required information. 1.3.7 FREIGHT AND PRODUCT DELIVERY. All shipments of goods covered under the scope of this ITB and Agreement/Contract are F.O.B. destination. Bids responses showing other than F.O.B. destination will not be accepted. All standard freight and/or delivery charges shall be included in the unit pricing bid herein. It is anticipated that delivery location will be ASU’s Interdisciplinary Science and Technology III (ISTB3) Building located on the ASU Polytechnic campus at 7418 E. Innovation Way South, Mesa, AZ 85212. Group 1.4: Pricing Schedule Instructions: 1.4.1 Bidder shall submit a detailed itemized pricing schedule to include all aspects of meeting the requirements listed in the Specifications associated with this ITB. Bidder will quote a single Total Bid Price at the end of the itemized pricing schedule. Bidder will upload their pricing schedule under this question. Bidder is asked to include pricing and details for annual maintenance that the Univeristy might choose to purchase after the initial warranty period has passed.
