Qualifications:
The City of University City is requesting quotations from qualified contractors to provide all labor and materials necessary to perform annual backflow device inspections/testing and repairs as needed. The successful bidder will also be required to file all reports and associated paper work on behalf of the City of University City to the St. Louis County Public Works Department. The repairs will be completed on a time and material basis.
Miscellaneous:
The majority of the devices are removed during the winter months and can be bench tested. Seven (7) devices are not removed and must be tested in the field. All testing must be completed prior to April 1 of each year. A list of backflow locations and meters has been attached.
