The estimated award date of this contract is June 2024.DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The USACE Alaska District is conducting geotechnical investigations to provide information for projects within or near military installations or civil works projects throughout the state of Alaska. The purpose of the work is to determine the type, character, thickness, stratification of subsurface soil and rock materials, static groundwater conditions, presence of contamination, and geotechnical engineering properties of subsurface materials at the various sites. This information will subsequently be used by the Government to determine geotechnical and environmental design requirement for U.S. military and civil works projects. The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all materials, labor, tools, equipment, supplies including fuel, vehicular transportation, power and water, and all else necessary to complete geotechnical drilling requirements.
