KSU ¿ HVACR Annual Preventative Maintenance Services

Purpose of Procurement Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated §§50-5-50 et seq.), the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia by and on behalf of Kennesaw State University is seeking proposals from qualified suppliers/contractors who will provide HVACR Annual Preventative Maintenance Services to Kennesaw State University (hereinafter, ¿KSU¿ or ¿the State Entity¿) as further described in this eRFP. Objective The objective of this Request for Proposals is to enter into a contract(s) with a qualified mechanical contractor who will perform repairs, replacements, installation, and preventive maintenance on the following mechanical systems and equipment for the university, including but not limited to; HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) Systems, Chilled water systems, Heating water systems, and Controls/Automation Systems. The contractors proposed hourly rates and percentage markups will cover the entire period of

the resultant contract for an initial term of one-year, and four, one-year optional renewal periods. Overview of the eRFP Process All timely proposals will be evaluated in accordance with the steps described in Attachment F_eRFP+Evaluation+Negotiation+and+Award+Terms, Section, ¿Proposal Evaluation, Negotiations and Award (eRFPs), 1. Evaluation. ¿The objective of the evaluation process is to identify the proposal which represents the best value to the State Entity based on a combination of technical and cost factors. Based on the results of the initial evaluation, the State Entity may or may not elect to negotiate technical and/or cost factors as further described in the eRFP. After evaluating all supplier responses received prior to the closing date of this eRFP and resolution of any contract exceptions, the preliminary results of the eRFP process will be publicly announced, including the names of all participating suppliers and the evaluation results. Subject to the protest process, final contract award will be publicly announced thereafter.
