Sealed Bids for the Memorial Park – Contract I & II project will be received by Reilly Township online via the PennBid Program until Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at 12:00 P.M. (prevailing time). Bids will be publicly announced on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at 7:30 P.M. during the regular meeting of Reilly Township to be held at Newtown Fire Company Building, 32 Wood Street, Zerbe, PA 17901. All bids will be read aloud at Township meeting. Thereafter, bid results will be available online at http://PennBid.ProcureWare.com. The project includes ADA Parking Stall, ADA Accessible Concrete Sidewalks, Gazebo, Concrete Memorial Foundations, Lighting and Electrical, Fencing, and a significant amount of landscaping. The particular items of work for the contract are identified more specifically in the Bid Form, Contract Specifications and Contract Documents. The owner will furnish those materials listed in the project

documents. Contracts will be awarded to the lowest respective bidders for Contract 1 and Contract II. Contract documents may be obtained electronically at no cost at http://PennBid.ProcureWare.com. THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDERS will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. PA Prevailing Wage Rates apply. The CONTRACTOR must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. This bid is for a public works contract and bidder is therefore subject to the provisions, duties, obligations, and penalties of the Public Works Employment Verification Act, 43 P.S. 167.1-167.11. All submitted bids shall be accompanied with the Public Works Employment Verification Form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
