REQUEST FOR BIDS
BERNHART’S DAM SPILLWAY REMOVAL PROJECT
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
CITY OF READING, PENNSYLVANIA
The City of Reading will receive sealed proposals in the Office of the City Purchasing Coordinator, via the Penn Bid website (
www.PennBid.Procureware.com), until 3:00 P.M., prevailing time on October 27, 2021, for the Bernhart’s Dam Spillway Removal Project.
Specifications and Proposal Forms for the above work can be obtained on the Penn Bid website
www.pennbidprocureware.com.
There will be a mandatory pre bid meeting held on October 7, 2021 at 9:00 a.m on site at Bernhart’s Dam parking lot off of Little Rock Road between Spring Valley Road and Crystal Rock Road.
Each proposal shall be accompanied by bid surety in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal. A certified check or bid bond will be accepted.
The City of Reading reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to accept or reject any part of a bid that may not be in the public interest.
