RFI 02 - 29 March 20221. Was to verify that you wanted the refrigerated dryer to be included. The model of the old IR compressor has a built in air dryer. Answer: Yes, we want some form of dryer on the system, whether it be built-in or stand-alone as the long as the performance and standard is getting accomplished.2. Is the power 460V? I am assuming it is because of the VFD. Answer: The power specs that are within the solicitation on the PWS indicate the power requirment. But to clarify, existing air compressor is on a 480 volt, 3 phase, 4 wire, 60hz circuit with a 100 amp breaker. This would allow the voltage range to reach up to 480.3. We will be providing Forklift and driver? Answer: Yes, this question and answer was already presented on SAM.gov within RFI01 with “We do not have a forklift that will fit through the doors to the mechanical room where the compressor is located. Contractor will be required to provide the forklift/means and operator to bring in/remove equipment.”4.

Waste disposal manifests shall be submitted to the COR within 5 calendar days of project completion.  Replace the existing Ingersoll Rand (model: IRN40H-TAS) air compressor in building 700 with a new tank mounted, variable speed drive, rotary screw air compressor, able to handle loads of up to 160 cfm @150 psig rated pressure, 460v/3ph/60Hz, 140 cfm capacity. Minimal lead times required. Test complete system to ensure a fully operational final produc..
