Proposals shall be sealed in an envelope with the words “Professional Audit Services” on the front of the envelope. Proposals will be opened and publicly read aloud at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday March 20, 2024 at 115 East Choctaw, Sallisaw, Oklahoma, third floor conference room. Proposals will be accepted until 10:00 a.m., March 20, 2024, at city hall, in the office of the City Clerk during business hours,

Monday through Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., or by mailing to City of Sallisaw, Attn: City Clerk, P.O. Box 525, Sallisaw, OK 74955. Responders should carefully examine the request for proposal documents, ask questions of City staff and/or the City’s financial consultant, and fully inform themselves as to all conditions and matters, which can in any way affect the work or the costs thereof. Should a responder find discrepancies in, or omissions from this request, or should be in doubt as to their meanings, he should at once notify the City of Sallisaw and obtain clarification prior to submitting any proposal. Responders will be asked to submit certain information regarding his qualifications and planned work schedule. Attention is called to the requirement that the successful responder must comply with all local, state, and federal laws, regulations and policies applicable to this proposal request unless specifically excluded herein. No responder may withdraw their proposal within thirty (30) days after the actual date of opening thereof. The City of Sallisaw reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and accept the one which is most advantageous to the City.
