CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF MATTAWA TOWN CONTRACT NO. 2022-05 TENDER FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF MATTAWAN STREET FROM PINE STREET TO PARK STREET Sealed tenders, plainly marked as to contents, will be received by Mr. Paul Laperriere, Interim Chief Administrative Officer/Treasurer, Town of Mattawa Municipal Office, 160 Water Street until: 2:00 PM, LOCAL TIME, WEDNESDAY, MAY 8, 2024 for the reconstruction of Mattawan Street from Pine Street intersection to Park Street intersection (a distance of 560 m) including Part A Pine Street to Hurdman Street: 340 meters asphalt removal including 150 mm of Granular A’ removal, catchbasin removal and replacement, outlet culvert removal and replacement, grading, granular base, hot mix paving, asphalt gutter, storm and sanitary structure frame adjustments and landscaping Part B Hurdman Street to Park Street: 220 meters tack coat and asphalt overlay from Hurdman Street to Park Street. Complete tender documents may be obtained after 8:30 AM on Wednesday,

April 10th, 2024 at the Town of Mattawa Municipal Office, 160 Water Street on Payment of a non-refundable deposit of $50.00 per set. Cheques should be made payable to the Corporation of the Town of Mattawa. An electronic copy of the Tender document can be provided by via email with no charge upon request by e-mailing Jp2g Consultants Inc. as noted below after April 10, 2024. Your e-mail will be returned with the link and password where the documents, drawings and any future addenda may be retrieved. E-mail requests for tender document registration to be forwarded to “tenders@jp2g.com” with the subject line “Tender Request Mattawan Street Reconstruction”. Tenders will be opened at The Corporation of the Town of Mattawa Municipal Office, 160 Water Street Mattawa, Ontario on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 2:00 PM. The Contract Award will be Monday, May 13, 2024 with a contemplated construction start Monday, May 27, 2024 and substantial completion Friday, November 1, 2024. The successful Bidder will be required to file with the Owner the specified bonds and insurance within ten (10) days of being awarded the Contract.
