M230 Apache Servo Valves

The United States Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) intends to solicit, under solicitation W56HZV-21-R-0073, a sole source, three-year firm-fixed price requirements contract for the procurement of services necessary to repair servo valves that are components of the AH-64 Apache Weapon System (AWS). The hydraulic servo valves, NSNs 1650-01-211-6309  and 4810-01-221-0648, are electrically controlled, hydraulic fluid flow control valves developed for use on the AH-64 Apache Attack Helicopter. The conversion will implement reliability improvement changes for various actuator sub-components. This action is supported under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Entitled, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements". The total estimated value of this contract is $629k.The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Moog Inc.
