Heritage Stairs & Heritage – Exterior Stairs Renewal [RFT] Project Description :REQUEST FOR TENDER (RFT) General Contractors Project No: 1094165 & 1094779 Project Name:Repair Heritage Stairs & Heritage – Exterior Stairs Renewal Location:200 First Ave. W North Bay ON BGIS Global Integrated Solutions Canada LP (BGIS) on behalf of the Infrastructure Ontario Corporation is inviting Consultant firms to submit proposals to provide professional services as detailed in BGIS’s Request for Proposal. NDA is not requiredBGIS requires the services of a qualified Contractor for the following project and scope of services: Description of Project: Project # 1094165: Repair Heritage Stairs Interior Heritage Stair Repairs Existing interior heritage stair was damaged during a roof leak. Existing gypsum board to be patch as required and finished. Existing stair balustrade to be refinished and restained. The four storey heritage stair will also receive new carpet finish, new prefinished metal trims and tin ceiling panels. New electrical lighting fixtures will also be provided. Project # 1094779:Heritage – Exterior Stairs Renewal Exterior Heritage Stair Reconstruction The existing exterior heritage stair will be demolished to make way for a new poured concrete stair. The new stair will consist of architecturally finished exposed poured concrete stair construction bearing on spread footings. The stair will also receive new custom steel railings and guards. The upper landing will receive new slip resistant tile finish as well as a small amount of brick repairs. Further details are in the Instruction to Bidders and appendices. A mandatory site visitand briefing will be held at 10:00amlocal time on September 12th, 2023, to discuss issues related to the RFT.
