The City is using this RFP to select competitive proposals for a public/private partnership. At a minimum, a proposing vendor should have experience constructing and operating EV chargers for public charging use. In addition, vendor experience with public/private partnerships and successfully operating chargers in the right-of-way is highly preferable. This request for proposals is for a public/private partnership between the City and a vendor or vendors who can install and maintain charging stations at a total of 15 (fifteen) locations within the City for a period of 12 (twelve) months. These initial locations have existing EV station infrastructure. The goal is to find a vendor or vendors who can provide reliability and exceptional maintenance and customer service. This initial rollout will inform next steps for development of infrastructure and rapid deployment of up to 300 future EV charging stations. The City seeks to: • Incorporate universal charging capabilities • Test multiple EV charging technologies and business models • Determine feasible options that eliminate City investment and liability • Identify approaches that best suit specific locations while minimizing any negative impacts to other assets in the right-of-way, adjacent land use, or to drivers, cyclists, or pedestrians Other Details Notes Special Notices Local Programs & Policies Place eBid
