Notice of Intent to Increase the Ceiling on N66001-16-C-4048

This is a notice of intent to increase the ceiling of Contract N66001-16-C-4048 to Metron Incorporated, awarded by SSC Pacific on behalf of the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA), Defense Sciences Office, (DSO) on 20 June 2016 in support of DARPA DSOs program Complex Adaptive System Composition and Design Environment (CASCADE). The additional effort will allow Metron Incorporated to guide the composition of structures and task plans relating to the combat search and rescue domain. Metron Incorporated will provide input on current and potential COMPoSER analysis capabilities within the combat search and rescue domain while demonstrating optimization in the formulations. This will provide the Complex Adaptive System Composition and Design Environment (CASCADE) program with additional mathematical methodology and domain reasoning. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541712. Due to the nature of Research and Development efforts, DARPA could not have reasonably estimated the results and additional needs for the research under this program, which has seen breakthroughs that will benefit from continued research under this current contract. This action includes a ceiling increase of approximately $149,866.09.
