DDG 51 Ship Control System Solicitation N00024-23-R-4205 Synopsis

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has released a solicitation via full and open competition for a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to design, develop, fabricate, assemble and test a DDG 51 Ship Control System (SCS) to meet the performance specifications outlined in the solicitation. This procurement synopsis has been prepared in accordance with FAR 5.207.The contract period of performance (POP) will consist of one twelve-month base period and four twelve-month option periods. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 334511, with a size standard of 1,300 employees.The places of performance under this contract include, but are not limited to, the United States.Competition will be restricted to contractors that meet the small business size criteria for NAICS code 334511.Two sources sought notices were issued in the System for Award Management (SAM) website on 26 APR 2022 and 26 MAY 2022, under NAICS code 336611, titled “Request for Information for

the DDG Class Ship Control System (DDG SCS)”, N00024-22-S-4106.The solicitation was be made available online as N00024-23-R-4205, via https://sam.gov/ and https://piee.eb.mil/ Interested parties must comply with the announcement and are advised to continue to monitor this website.This notice of intent is to inform interested contractors of the Government’s issuance a competitive solicitation.
