10/25/23: UPDATED TO ADD CLARIFICATIONS MADE BELOW:QUESTION: Can a twin pack engine with 500 kW each that can generate 1000 kW work?ANSWER: A twin pack 500KW EDG combo is acceptable as long as it is 31 feet long or less. Pier space available is minimal. QUESTION: Will 480 voltage work or will it need to be reduced to 440 voltage?ANSWER: 480V is acceptable. 440VAC is what is required on the ship. There will be a voltage drop in the cables. QUESTION: Will 12550 gallon tank work or it has to be 16000 gallon tank?ANSWER: Believe the above question has an extra digit in it. The spec requires a 1,600 gallon tank. 1,600 gallon tank is the minimum size that our customer will accept. They require a certain amount of run time for emergency power that allows them the flexibility with their fuel truck.
