The City of Casselberry (CITY/OWNER) has identified an opportunity to construct a nutrient reduction facility (NURF) at its Queens Mirror Lake. The 0.88 acre project is located within Section 16 of Township 21 South and Range 30 East in Casselberry Florida. The project area is bounded by South Winter Park Drive to the south and Queens Mirror Lake to the north. The Work specified in the “Scope of Services” generally consists of procurement of materials, installation, miscellaneous concrete work and restoration, along with all required Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) following Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) standard specifications and all necessary Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and Best Management Practices (BMPs) required by local jurisdictions. The CONTRACTOR for this Project must perform at least fifty-five percent (55%) of the work with its own forces. Funding for this project will be partially provided by American Rescue Plan Act (“ARPA”) Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund. As such, all applicable federal guidelines are hereby incorporated herein by reference. The CONTRACTOR shall abide by all applicable federal guidelines at all times throughout the execution and completion of this project. The engineering cost estimate for the base bid of this project is $2,623,140.00. The basis for award shall be the base bid.
