Description

Scope of Services
City requires the following services to help meet the aforementioned need: provide low-cost spay-neuter surgeries, diagnose and treat injured and ill domestic animals placed in the care of the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter and, work cooperatively with City staff to achieve positive outcomes for the community’s lost and homeless pets as detailed in the Scope of Services section below at the Moreno Valley Animal Clinic and Moreno Valley Animal Shelter.
These services will require the professional services of California licensed veterinarians and the necessary support staff to perform spay/neuter surgeries, diagnose and treat sick and injured animals, while minimizing the spread of disease within the municipal animal shelter through daily rounds performed by the veterinarians.
These services will be used to maintain the health of the community’s pets as well as reduce the annual intake of homeless pets into the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter through low-cost spay and neuter services, as well as continue the trend of increasing the positive outcomes for unwanted pets.
