List of Qualified Bidders for the 2017 Calendar Year

THIS NOTICE is to any individual or firm wishing to be added to the City of Walnut Creek’s (“City”) list of qualified bidders (“List”) for the 2017 calendar year pursuant to the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA). Interested individual/firm(s) must submit a CUPCCAA contractor application (“Application Form”). To be considered for placement on the List, the City must receive the completed Application Form no later than December 31, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. Submit Application Forms online via the City’s website at: www.walnut-creek.org/departments/publicworks/engineering-services-/capital-investment-program/contractor-project-notification-list. Please be advised that submission of an Application Form does not guarantee placement on the List or that the applicant will be informed of, or

included in, all requests for proposals (“RFP”), requests for qualifications (“RFQ”), or bid requests. The City will issue notices of RFQ, RFP, or bid requests to qualified bidders on the List based on the category of work being bid, and/or announce project opportunities in designated trade journals. The City reserves the right to reject any and all requests solicited, to waive minor irregularities, and to make such decisions as deemed necessary in the best interest of the City in accordance with the law. Interested individual/firm(s) are encouraged to inquire about current City project opportunities by checking the local newspaper, trade journals, and City website for publicly advertised RFPs, RFQs, or bid solicitations. Note: If you have previously submitted an application and wish to remain on the List, you do not need to resubmit an Application Form. Qualified bidders from the 2016 List will automatically be included in the List for 2017. If you wish to be removed from the List, you must submit a request in writing stating that you no longer wish to be notified of public work RFQ, RFP or bid requests from the City of Walnut Creek.
