NOTICE TYPERequest for Information/Sources SoughtSOURCES SOUGHTThis is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations.The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) contracting activity seeks to identify vendors capable of providing gym memberships to a physical fitness facility within a 5 mile radius of 10803 Parkridge Blvd., Reston, VA 20191. All interested vendors shall provide capability packages for the items outlined below. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 713940 for Fitness and Recreational Sports Centers. The size standard is$15.5M.The capability packages for this sources sought are *not* proposals, but rather statements regarding the Company’s existing and past experience in relation to the areas specified above and should include:1. Name of the firm, point of contact, phone number, email address, DUNS number, CAGE code, a statement regarding small business status (including small business

type(s)/ certifications(s) such as SDB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.) and the corresponding NAICS code.2. Identify whether your firm is interested in competing for this requirement as a prime contractor or not. Identify subcontracting, joint ventures or teaming arrangement that will be pursued, if any, bearing in mind the performance thresholds of 52.219-14.3. Information in sufficient detail regarding previous experience (indicate whether as a prime contractor or subcontractor) on similar requirements (include size, scope, complexity, timeframe, government or commercial), pertinent certifications, etc., that will facilitate making a capability determination. Vendors will be required to provide:a.   A minimum of forty (40) gym facility memberships to be provided on a contractual basis as organizational memberships and are not transferable by and between individual military service persons.b.  Showers, shower towels, workout towels, lockers,weight room, and exercise equipment.c.  The facility should be able to accommodate at least 20 members during peak attendance hours from 6 - 9 am and 3 - 6 pm.d.  The fitness facility must be open between the hours of 6 am and 10 pm, Monday through Friday. The facility must be open during weekends, however the operating hours shall be at the discretion of the facility.e.  Facility must have a turf area to conduct ACFT and sled pulls, at least fifteen 10-pound balls, fifteen 20-pound kettle balls, and at least 15 Trap Bars.Interested parties have ten (10) days from the date of publication of the synopsis to submit in writing, to the identified point of contact, clear and convincing evidence of their qualifications and/or capabilities. Such qualifications and/or capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after ten (10) days, or without the required information, will be considered non- responsive to this synopsis and will not be considered. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if one is issued.
