rel="no-follow" href="mailto:THill@Rivco.org">THill@Rivco.org The County of Riverside Purchasing on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is soliciting quotations for tire and lube services as detailed in this Request for Quotation (RFQ). The services include, but are not limited to labor, materials, supplies, and equipment listed under this bid for tires and lube services. Bidders shall have the option to submit a bid for either services, or both. The Riverside Sheriff’s Department is the 2nd largest Sheriff’s Office in California, managing patrol stations, correctional facilities, court services, and Coroner-Public Administrator duties. It has consistently been among the fastest growing counties in the country, serving across more than 7,200 square miles and policing 17 of the 28 cities in Riverside County. Sheriff’s facilities are spread across the county, stretching from Corona to Blythe. The Department depends on their fleet to serve the communities and missions of the department. This RFQ is to establish a five (5) year contract agreement for both tire and lube services to support the Department’s fleet of approximately 1,900 vehicles distributed throughout Riverside County at their various sites and bureaus outlined in Exhibit C. Last fiscal year, the Department’s total combined driven miles was 20,926,269. A list of the Sheriff’s Department most common types of vehicles is located in Exhibit D. The vehicles listed in Exhibit D are not a comprehensive list and are subject to change based on the Department’s annual vehicle replacement schedule. The County shall have the option to award multiple vendors based on the established regions outlined in this proposal to meet the service needs of the Department. Bidders are encouraged to submit their best offer initially as County may award without negotiations. The purpose of this RFQ is to obtain the lowest prices offered as compared to, but not limited to, any other government entities for the same product or service. The awarded contractor shall maintain at their facility an adequate par level for all high usage tires which shall be available for immediate usage by the Sheriff’s Department. The Contractor’s par level shall be adequate enough to compensate for disruptions in the supply chain and/or long lead times from the manufacturer. There is also a significant need for mobile services in which the awarded vendor will be responsible for traveling to a given location, removing, repairing and/or replacing tires. The Sheriff’s Department is also in need of mobile oil change services in which the awarded vendor will be responsible for traveling to a given location, changing motor oil and filter (Exhibit B). Additionally, scheduled service can take place at the Awarded Contractor’s facility(s) at the discretion of the participating site/bureau. [TS1] 3.0 TIMELINE DATES: 1.
