Fitness Management Software System

Added:Feb 14, 2019 5:27 pm The current fitness health centers management software licenses at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is used to track membership for the Atlanta and Hyattsville fitness centers. It is also used to generate fitness evaluation results in Atlanta. Employees at CDC complete membership forms to use a fitness center. Their demographic and health status information is entered into the HealthCalc database.An integrated data management system provides a way for wellness office staff to better understand the reach and effectiveness towards engagement of the CDC workforce in health-promoting behaviors. It is important for CDC to build and maintain a degree of health that will support improved well-being and productivity.The purpose of this project is for the WorkLife Wellness Office (WWO) within OSSAM to replace the current fitness health centers management software, HealthCalc. The current system does not support Windows 10. The fitness health

centers management software program will be used each time staff enters a Lifestyle fitness center. This entry verifies that the individual has been cleared to use the facility and tracks all CDC fitness center membership and participation in Atlanta, Hyattsville and Fort Collins. It is also used to record fitness evaluation results in Atlanta.Due to HealthCalc (32-bit) being no longer compatible with CDC's operating system and pending updates with Windows, the fitness health centers management software system needs to be replaced. WWO wants to use this opportunity in the acquisition of updated software to add features needed to improve client engagement and delivered services. The updated system will need to support: 1) the capability for clients to schedule activities through a user interface, 2) consolidated records (member profiles, consultations, facility use) in an electronic format to reduce physical storage space and management of paper filing systems and 3) reporting systems for evaluation and strategic planning purposes and delivered services.Award of a Firm-fixed price purchase order is anticipated as a result of this RFQ IAW/FAR Part 12 and in conjunction with FAR Part 13.
