INVITATION TO BIDDERS Sealed bids will be received on Thursday, April 6, 2023, by the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government (TPCG) Purchasing Division, at the City of Houma Service Complex, 301 Plant Road, in Houma, Louisiana until 2:00 P.M as shown on the Purchasing Division Conference Room Clock, and TPCG shall at that time and place publically open the bids and read them aloud. Bids shall not be accepted or taken, including receiving any hand delivered bids, on days which are recognized as holidays by the United States Postal Service. Project Name: Hollywood Road Bridge Extension Project Project No: 19-BRG-25 Project Description: The proposed Hollywood Rd. Extension Bridge project will consist of the construction of a new concrete bridge across Bayou Black in Houma, Louisiana, connecting the Hollywood Rd. Extension and Bayou Black Dr. (LA 182). The proposed bridge project will consist of the following main features: (4) 21-foot Cast-In-Place Concrete Slab-Spans 5 Cast-In-Place Concrete Bents 2 Cast-in-Place Concrete Approach Slabs (35) 18 Square Prestressed Precast Concrete Piles 3 Lanes of Traffic with a 50-foot Bridge Clear Width Traffic Signal Devices at both Bridge Intersections Road Stripping and Signage 254 Linear Feet of Steel Sheet Pile Wingwall for Bank Stabilization (6) Solar Powered Bridge Lights Bids must be submitted on the Louisiana Uniform Public Works Bid Form furnished with the Bidding Documents. A single set of Bidding Documents shall be issued at the cost of reproduction to contractors who are licensed by the Licensing Board of Contractors. This Project shall require a Louisiana Contractors license number for HIGHWAY, STREET & BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION. Any contract(s) awarded under this invitation for Bids are expected to be funded in part by a grant from the U.S. Department of Treasury, RESTORE Act Direct Component. Neither the United States nor any of its departments, agencies or employees is or will be a party to this Invitation to Bids or any resulting contract. All bidders must comply with the Presidents Executive Order Numbers 11246 and 11375 which prohibit discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex or national origin. All bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Davis Bacon Act, the Anti-Kickback Act, and the contract work Hours Standard Act. All bidders must make positive efforts to use small and minority owned business and women business enterprises.
