Broadcast Satellite Television Service Provider

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for an enterprise broadcast satellite television service provider, with associated management, maintenance and support services.  Accordingly, TSA intends to award a contract to DirecTV located at 2260 E. Imperial Highway, El Segundo, CA 90245.   This contract will address the requirements of the End User Service Division within Information Technology.
The propose contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.   Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.   This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Information re

ceived will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.   Interested vendors who may wish to seek subcontracting opportunities should contact the above named company directly.  
All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. Any information the responder considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned, including any proprietary information. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this Special Notice.
