Bid Title:RFQ for Design Associated with 20th Street E Multimodal Improvements Category:Request for Qualifications for Design for 20th Street E Multimodal ImprovementsStatus:Open Description: The City of Fife is soliciting statements of qualifications from professional engineering firms interested in providing engineering design services and obtaining required environmental permits for the City of Fife 20 th Street E Multimodal Improvements project. This work will be approximately 18 months in duration with the option for the City of Fife to extend it for additional time and money, if necessary. Consultants may be considered for subsequent phases of work associated with this project. The consultant’s work will consist of preparing engineering design for improvements on 20 th Street E from the 5500 block to 62 nd Avenue E. The project will reconstruct and widen the road to a 3-lane section with curbs, sidewalks on the north side, shared use path on the south side, and utility

improvements. ADA facility improvements will be included. Each submittal may be no more than 10 double sided pages in length, including cover letter and no less than 12-point font for body of text. The city encourages disadvantaged, minority, and women-owned consultant firms to respond.Upon review of the submittals, selected firms will be invited for interviews. After the City interview panel selects the most qualified firm, the City will commence contract negotiation of a proposed scope, fee, and contract for the project. The City reserves the right to not award any contract.
