The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Washington (Wash) intends to issue a Request for Proposal for Vertical Transportation Equipment (VTE) support. This is not a request for proposal. The RFP will be issued under N40080-17-R-0313 and is expected to be posted on Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) and Febbizopps the first week of August or 31 July. The solicitation will be for a performance based indefinite-quantity contract. The contract will have one base year and four options. The contract will be comprised of both Recurring Work and Non-Recurring Work Items for Inspection, Maintenance and Repair of Vertical Transportation Equipment (VTE) at Naval Support Activity Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC; Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), Washington, DC; Marine Corps Barricks, Washington, DC; Naval Support Facility Arlington Service Center (ASC), Arlington, VA; United States Naval Observatory (USNO), Washington, DC; Naval Support Facility, Carderock, West Bethesda, MD;
Naval Support Facility Dahlgren, VA; Naval Support Facility Indian Head, MD; Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD; Patuxent River Naval Air Station, Patuxent River, Maryland and other sites within 100 mile radius of Washington, DC. VTE includes hydraulic and track elevators, vehicle access barriers and a pedestrian bridge. The RFP will be solicited using a one-phase competitive procurement under FAR PART 15 Contracting by Negotiation. Evaluation will be conducted using a Best Value Approach. The solicitation will be issued under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICs) 238290. The value of the effort is between $25,000,000 to $50,000,000. The RFP will be set aside for Small Businesses. Offerors must be small businesses under NAICs code 238290 to be eligible to compete for this award..
