Section I The County of Santa Clara (the County) is requesting bids from prospective certified providers for one (1) Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Hostage Rescue Training Course for the County's Office of the Sheriff (SHO) as specified under this Invitation to Bids (ITB). Date: March 28, 2023 3:00 p.m. PST Dial-In Information: Phone Number: 877-402-9757 Participant Code: 7094144 Section II The County’s intent is to award a one-time purchase order to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder (contingent upon the availability of grant funds allocated to SHO). The 3-day training course must be conducted on County’s

premises on October 23, 2024 through October 25, 2024. Each training day must begin at 7:00 AM and end at 5:00 PM (inclusive of breaks and lunch period). Instructors are required to be on-site for each day of the training course. The training course must accommodate a maximum of thirty (30) student participants per training day. The training course must be facilitated by minimum of three (3) instructors per training day. Bid prices should be all-inclusive and account for all fees and applicable charges. DO NOT include any sales taxes or government-imposed fees as County will calculate these at the time of the award. Section III Bidder(s) must complete, sign, and submit the ITB Bidders Representation and the Declaration Submittal Form without Local Preference to be considered for an award. Within three (3) days of the County's notification, the apparent successful Bidder will be required to submit the following documents: - Insurance Certificate/s in compliance with the County Insurance Requirements as attached.
