The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials (including paint), transportation, supervision, and disposal necessary to complete the paint and floor maintenance in the below listed units:SCOPE OF WORK: Work consists of preparing and painting, surfaces (i.e., walls, ceilings, doors, closets, kitchen, trim, and molding, on interior surfaces of the housing units, bulkhead/cellar ways, bulkhead/cellar steps, basement walls and basement floors. All exterior storm doors and all entrance doors and trim shall also be painted. Garage entry doors and walls in Flat Top units finished garages shall also be painted. Exterior doors (aluminum): White latex paintInterior doors: EggshellWalls: EggshellTrim: EggshellCeiling: Flat ceiling whiteBasement: The basements are to be painted to include all previously painted surfaces in basement. Walls shall be painted white with moldicide additive, the deck (floor), metal poles, and bulkhead walls and steps shall be painted with gray (moldicide added to paint).**Note: Spraying of paint will be allowed for the interior ceilings, and basement, and garage spaces only. Contractor will be required to ensure any overspray is removed and cleaned. In the event you desire to spray paint, please notify the COR.Work shall also include refinishing existing hardwood floors. Floors shall be refinished by either screening or sanding the existing floors and applying two coats of high-gloss polyurethane. The determination of which method will be employed in each unit (i.e., screening or sanding) shall be made by the Contracting Officer or his/her technical representative.
