Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Single Award Contract, to provide for a virtual reality crane training simulator. NNSY Lifting and Handling Department training branch utilizes a simulator (with associated hardware and software) from Industrial Training International, Inc. (“ITI”) ) to train and certify mobile crane operators.The requirement will be solicited as a Sole Source requirement. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 541511, Custom Computer Programming Services with a size standard of $30 million. The Product Service Code is DA10. The period of performance for this acquisition is anticipated to begin 2 August 2021 through 1 August 2024.
