The City of Vancouver requires a qualified supplier to provide office supplies at competitive

prices and deliver on schedule to various locations across the City. As a result of a treaty compliant competitive bidding process, Her Majesty the Queen in Right of the Province of British Columbia (the “Province”) has entered a Master Standing Agreement (the “Agreement”) with Staples Professional Inc.(the “Staples”) under Staples 2021 Contract ON-003616 for providing the Office Supplies and Associated Services. The Agreement has a provision enabling any government organization, local public body or participating jurisdiction as defined in the Procurement Services Act (British Columbia) that has entered an access agreement with the Province being eligible to enter an agreement with Staples, on substantially the same terms and conditions as set out in the Agreement. Accordingly, the City, after carefully reviewing the products, the prices and the terms in the Agreement, has entered into an access agreement with the Province and elected to leverage the Province Agreement with Staples with respect to the supply and delivery of office supplies. The expected term of the contract is one year plus three (3) additional one-year period extension option. The contract is valued at approximately $467,000 for one year.
