SBMWD has 700 miles of pipeline varying in size from 2 inches to 78 inches in diameter and approximately 45,000 metered water services. SBMWD seeks to deploy an AMI network, which includes a meter data management database for the initial project consisting of 7,504 standard meters and 5,042 AMI compatible meters. This project consists of design and related services of the Advanced Meter Infrastructure System along with other associated services as specified in the RFP documents. Other Details Minimum experience requirements: Successful implementation of three (3) AMI projects within the past five 95) years with similar integration design and implementation. Project experiences with a water utility or other government agency is preferred. Notes The bidder is solely responsible for on time submission of their electronic bid. The Department will only consider bids that have been transmitted successfully and have been issued an ebid confirmation number with a time stamp form the Bid Management System indicating that bid was submitted successfully. Transmission of bids by any other means will not be accepted. Bidder shall be solely responsible for informing itself with respect to the proper utilization of the bid management system, for ensuring the capability of their computer system to upload the required documents, and for the stability of their internet service. Failure of the bidder to successfully submit an electronic bid shall be at the bidder's sole risk and no relief will be given for late and/or improperly submitted bids.
