NOI to Sole Source - Replacement of Chillers #2 and #3 at DFAS

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCEReplacement of Chillers #2 and #3 at DFASW912QR21R0034SPECIAL NOTICE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Louisville District intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Contractor to provide all labor, equipment, supplies and services as required for the replacement of Chillers #2 and #3 at Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Building 21, located within the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC), a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) installation to result in a complete and useable facility.As part of the solicitation, USACE intends to include the following sole source requirements:HVAC Chillers – The replacement chillers will specifically be Trane Model CVHF770 chillers.  This is required for the new chiller to tie into the current building management system being utilized by DFAS. Trane has offices around the world, with a regional office in Holland, Ohio. DFAS has implemented an installation standardization of HVAC chiller manufacturers in order to reduce overall costs and increase overall performance
