PROPOSAL TO EXTEND STATE AIRPORT LAND USE: The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to extend the use of Parcel A, consisting of approximately 6,400 square feet, at Chignik Lake Airport under Permit ADA-09302 for an additional five (5) years, to expire April 29, 2029. Applicant: Alaska Department of Fish and Game. Annual rent: $625.00. Authorized uses: Aeronautical - Fuel storage and aircraft tiedown in support of Lessees seasonal aircraft operations during the summer biological salmon and herring surveys at Chignik Lake and surrounding areas. Competing applications or written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., May 3, 2024, after which the Department will determine whether or not to extend the Permit. The Department’s decision will be sent only to persons who submit written comment or objection or a competing application to the Department, at the address and by the date and time specified in this notice, and include their return address.
