RFQ for Affordable Housing Development Services

Updated 10/03/2023: Addendum III is posted below. * The Town of Chapel Hill (“Town”) is seeking a development partner (“Partner”) interested in developing affordable housing on an 8-9 acre portion of Town-owned property located at 1714 Legion Road and 1501 Ephesus Church Road (PIN: 9799-55-5951 and 9799-547-762) (“Site”). This Site is envisioned as a rare opportunity to address a range of community needs related to affordable housing, recreation, and climate resilience on 48 acres of Town land. Contemplated uses have included a world-class park with both active and passive recreation, the preservation of existing natural areas, as well as affordable housing. All submittals are due by 3:00PM on October 11, 2023 to Zakia Alam, Purchasing and Contracts Manager: zalam@townofchapelhill.org, with “Affordable Housing Development Services RFQ” in the subject line. Email attachments are limited to 20 MB per email. Submissions received after this date and time will not be considered.
