ARIBA RFP # Doc2495163923 The Proposer shall provide all labor, material, and equipment required to perform the Service described as: CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER OPERATOR. SMUD, along with its multi-parties, Sacramento State and UC Davis Health, is seeking a vendor to transition SMUD's on-site child development center operations from its current location to 6011 Folsom Blvd., Sacramento California, to open a proposed new facility and operate it prospectively according to the multi-parties requirements. The Center is anticipated to be renovated and is expected to open mid-year of 2021. The Center will be approximately 17,000 sq. ft. with 15 classrooms that can support up to 207 children, provided the staffing ratios of COVID-19 have dissipated. The outside play area will be approximately 15,000 sq. ft. See Appendix A for site plan. Please note that there will not be a full kitchen onsite. There will be refrigerators and microwaves only. It is anticipated that the contract will be for eight (8) years with one four (4) year extension and one three (3) year extension for a possible total of 15 years. The language in this RFP assumes that during the term of the operator agreement there are no federal, state, or local government orders and/or guidelines regarding the COVID-19 pandemic applicable to child care centers. The operator agreement requires that the operator comply with all applicable laws. If during the term of the operator agreement such orders and/or guidelines exist, then the operator would be required to comply with those orders and/or guidelines.
