2/12/2018: Modified to include ATTENDEES LIST on ATTACHMENT 1 and INDUSTRY DAY Presentation on ATTACHMENT 2 INDUSTRY DAY OCCURRED ON 17-18 January 2018; this modification is a follow-up action item. ---------------------------------------- 12/13/2017: Modified to correct dates on Attachment 1, ASCV Agenda. -------------------------------------------------- The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) will be hosting an Industry Day 17-18 January 2018. This Industry Day will start with a program overview and a demonstration led by ACB-2. The second day will consist of pre-arranged one-on-ones. The ASCV Industry Day will be conducted at 1745 10th St, Virginia Beach, VA 23451. The agenda can be found at Attachment 1 of this Notice. The agenda is subject to change. This Industry Day meeting is not tied to a specific acquisition effort and there is no government funding allocated for attendees to support. This event is designed as an
informational meeting only. The intended audience includes industry, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers, University-Affiliated Research Centers, and other government parties interested in developing transportation and landing vehicles in support of amphibious operations across the range of military operations (ROMO), particularly in the near shore surf zone area; small business is encouraged to participate. Interested participants may schedule one-on- one sessions on the provided registration form. HOW TO REGISTER: Interested participants must complete and submit the Industry Day Registration Form (Attachment 2) to nicole.m.bell@navy.mil no later than 1200 PST, Thursday, 4 January 2018. Registration is required to attend and is limited to four (4) attendees per company/organization. Requests for one-on-one sessions must be requested at time of registration. Requests for a specific time for the one-on-one sessions are not guaranteed. One-on-one sessions will be limited to no more than 45 minutes. Exceptions will not be made for late registration. An e-mail confirmation will be sent verifying successful receipt of registration and scheduled one-on-one session (if elected) by 1400 PST, Friday, 12 January 2018.
