INFORMAL BID 2020-132 KITSAP COUNTY FACILITIES MAINTENANCE Kitsap County Juvenile and Family Court Services Building Shower Tile Replacement RESPONSE DEADLINE: Wednesday, September 16, 2020 @ 3:00 PM MANDATORY SITE VISIT: Wednesday, September 9, 2020 @ 9:00 AM Kitsap County Juvenile and Family Court Services Building 1338 SW Old Clifton Road, Port Orchard, WA 98366 Meet at building entrance The Kitsap County Purchasing Office is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the removal/disposal of existing shower tiles and installation of new tiles. Project consists of removing tile in (4) Pods with (2) showers per Pod. This includes the demolition, clean up, disposal and preparation for new tile installation including waterproofing and shower pan repairs as necessary. Contractor will be responsible for prepping and cleaning surface prior to installation of Tile. Grout shall be sealed according to manufacture requirements. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Ground Floor and Mezzanine showers can be worked on concurrently. Proposed tiles need to match as close as possible to the existing 1”x 1” tiles, 1”x1” bullnose should be used where appropriate. If 1”x1” bullnose tiles are not available, 2”x 2” bullnose tiles can be substituted. All tile colors and size substitutions shall be subject to the approval of Kitsap County’s representative prior to installation.
