REQUEST FOR PROPOSALSFORMARKETING AGENCY AND/OR FUNDRAISING FIRM - KENNEDY PARK RENOVATION AND CAPITAL CAMPAIGNVillage of Weston, WisconsinMARCH 2024ALL FIRMS MUST NOTIFY SHAWN OSTERBRINK AT SOSTERBRINK@WESTONWI.GOVOR 715-241-2604 WITH THEIR CONTACT INFORMATION IF THEY PLAN ON SUBMITTING A PROPOSAL IN THE EVENT AN ADDENDA WOULD NEED TO BE SENT INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND The Village of Weston, Wisconsin is seeking proposals from experienced marketing and/or fundraising firms, agencies, or freelancers to create and execute a capital campaign plan providing oversight of a multi-year renovation to Kennedy Park in Weston, WI. The Village of Weston and other stakeholders created and approved an overall Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP) in 2023, including a Master Plan upgrade to Kennedy Park, 6002 Alderson Street. After careful consideration, feedback, survey results, and planning, the Master Plan, developed by Rettler Corporation, was approved and a public-private fundraising capital campaign is the next step in making the Master Plan a reality. The park includes features such as an aquatic center, baseball/softball fields, an outdoor ice-skating rink, picnic areas, restrooms, and playground equipment.
