Solicitation Description: Attachment 4 contains the Official Responses to Questions from Potential Respondents.Pursuant to Chapter 403, Section 403.011; Chapter 2155; and Chapter 2156, Section 2156.121 of the Texas Government Code and Chapter 54, Subchapter F of the Texas Education Code, the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (“Comptroller”), as Chair and Executive Director of the Texas Prepaid Higher Education Tuition Board (the “Board”), announces its Request for Proposals No. 225m   (“RFP”) to solicit proposals from qualified investment management firms

to assist Comptroller and the Board in managing the Ultra-Short Treasury portion of the assets held by the Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan as described in the RFP.   The anticipated schedule of events is as follows: Issuance of RFP – March 8, 2021, after 10:00 a.m. CT; Questions Due – March 18, 2021, 2:00 p.m. CT; Official Responses to Questions posted – March 25, 2021; Proposals Due – April 13, 2021, 2:00 p.m. CT; Contract Execution –August 1, 2021, or as soon thereafter as practical; Commencement of Work – September 1, 2021.   Comptroller reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify this schedule of events.   Notice of changes will be posted on the Electronic State Business Daily.   Parties interested in requesting a copy of the RFP should contact Vicki L.
