Headwaters State Park 1585 Trident Rd Three Forks, MT 59752 1.5 Bidder is aware: Contractor shall adequately protect the work, adjacent property and public in all phases or work. 1.6 Bidder is aware:Contractor shall maintain access to all phases of Contract, permitting inspection by FWP. 1.7 Bidder is aware:All work rejected as unsatisfactory shall be corrected prior to final inspection and acceptance. Contractor shall respond within seven (7) calendar days after notice of observed defects has been given and shall proceed to immediately remedy these defects. 1.8 Bidder is aware: Should the contractor fail to respond to the notice or not remedy the defect, the State shall have the work corrected at the expense of the Contractor. 1.9 Bidder is aware: Nothing herein stated shall obligate the Contractor to remedy defects caused by the Owners abuse of that work. 1.10 Bidder is aware: Clean-Up: The contractor shall: Keep the premises free from debris and accumulation of waste. Remove all equipment, tools and excess materials before final payment is processed. Disposal: assure proper disposal of all pesticides off site. 1.11 Bidder is aware: Contractor with appropriate herbicide using either backpack sprayers or ATV mounted sprayers. The Contractor will be allowed to use ATVs for off trail spraying with minimum to no soil disturbance. 1.12 Bidder is aware: Dye marker is to be used for all spray work completed. 1.13 Bidder is aware: Contractor will post public warning flags on treated areas. 1.14 Bidder is aware: All chemicals will be applied in accordance with chemical labels and EPA guidelines. 1.15 Bidder is aware: Contract shall provide in writing at the end of the spray season documentation of location and acreage size of infestation, types of weeds sprayed, and chemicals used. GPS documentation of infested areas is preferred however, if unavailable, detailed maps of sprayed and infested areas will be accepted. 1.16 Bidder is aware: Areas of focus will be determined on a year-by-year basis depending on intensity of infestation and available funds. 1.17 Bidder is aware: An initial meeting with the Park Manager and Regional Maintenance Foreman will be required to proceed work. 1.18 Bidder is aware: One to four sprayings may occur each year.
