Pole Monitoring 2024/2025

The City of Grande Prairie (the “City) is requesting detailed and comprehensive proposals for an engineering consulting firm to provide services to examine and test in-service traffic signal poles and other structures (pylon signs and scoreclocks). Examination of materials, welds, attachments, bolts, fixtures, connections, and other items will be performed using both Visual Testing (VT) and Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) methods, which include Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), and straight beam Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
